Early in
life, Carol Ann experienced many visions of yet to occur incidences.
Her first remembrance was a vision at the age of five. She had a dream
like vision depicting a head injury to her father. That same evening
Carol's father, who was a Philadelphia police officer, was accidentally
shot in the head. Mr. Whitley survived the accident but was left a
quadriplegic. Naturally, this event affected Carol for the rest of her
life.
The next earliest event took place while walking with her maternal grandmother. As they approached a house, Carol was startled to see the figure of a woman illuminating on the garage door. She stared in amazement but said nothing to her grandmother. Apparently, her grandmother possessed the same gift of site and said to Carol, "I see it too but never tell anyone". Carol's grandmother was born with the fabled veil, believed by many to indicate a natural psychic ability. The paternal side of Carol’s family is rich in stories of supernatural events, the most noted was her great grandmother who apparently possessed a strong ability to communicate with those who have passed over. She was a well-known medium in the mid west United States after relocating from England. As a young teen Carol would "read" for her friends and family using a deck of poker cards, admittedly, Carol did not have any training in card reading but used the cards as a focus; it was if they spoke to her. To her amazement as well as her friends, she was extremely accurate. That led to her friends bringing their friends and so on. The many psychic events and experiences Carol had throughout her life brought her to a place where she needed to understand what was happening to her. This is when her study of metaphysics began. Carol received her first Doctor of Divinity from a University in CA. and her second from World Christian Ministries also in CA. Her clinical Hypnotherapist certification was received from the National Guild of Hypnotist in NH. Her study in these fields has given her a solid background in the methodology and psychology of her work. She has also gained a general knowledge base of world religions, which has been helpful to her in understanding and working with people from many different cultures. Besides working with individuals through reading and meditation, Carol has taught classes in spiritual and psychic development, lead guided meditation groups and worked as an on call chaplain for Hope Hospice. She has also volunteered in several capacities for women’s shelters in Florida. Carol hosted her own call-in cable television show and has been a guest on several radio talk shows in Florida and Nevada.
